A Christian Stockholmer

Is the sky, is the sky full of stars? A web of lights in the Hamburg city. Probably soon to be taken down since Christmas is over.

The work week started at a fast pace. Our Swedish client has come to visit lots and lots of editorial offices with us. You would not think that sitting in a meeting with editors, listening and taking notes is more tiring than regularly working the whole day. But it sure is. I am broadening my horizon in a maximized way with a topic and the specialised media being super far from the things I usually think about. It is cool in a funny way to see the passion in the others’ eyes when they talk about their niche. The funniest things were uttered about me today though. When we were left alone and switched languages, the Swede looked at me bewildered and said, “But you have a Stockholm accent?!” Considering where he comes from, I am not sure if that is a compliment… πŸ˜‰ (All my teachers from SmΓ₯land and Finland could obviously not influence me as much as my peers.) At the end of the day, when I revealed that I know a dioceasan town when I see it, his companion (who had met me before) asked, “You are very Christian, aren’t you?” I must stop talking about church choir, I suppose. So have these two smart people managed to grasp my personality in a nutshell? A Christian Stockholmer? (Something that probably does not even exist in real life.)
